Our Masjid

ICOM was founded by a small group of community members with the aim of bringing a Masjid to the Owings Mills area. While there had been previous attempts to develop an Islamic Center, the founders of the Masjid were able to bring together different groups and unite them under one banner.

Then in 2017, ICOM opened it’s doors for the first time, and functioned as the first Masjid in the Owings MIlls/Reisterstown area. In late 2019, they were able to purchase a neighboring building, and establish a permanent home for the community. Today, ICOM is a diverse and fast-growing community that hopes to inspire a new generation with the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ and the Qur’an.
